Claire Pettibone 2011 Spirit of  the Night Collection offers some serious wedding inspiration for the whimsical bride.

Pettibone pushes the envelope in terms of traditional wedding dresses and when we laid our eyes on the new collection we instantly thought “whimsical” . The collection looks like an eclectic mix of vintage and modern.

The collection includes shades of champagne, pale pink, ivory, and silver. Many of the wedding dresses in the 2011 collection are embellished with jewels, beaded flowers, antique lace, and lots of intricate details.

Within the collection, there’s a dress for every bride, from an enchanted castle wedding to a playful wedding on the beach.

Here’s our favourites from the collection.

Crescent. This dress is dripping with crystals and beads! Look at that amazing back.

Delfina. The Chiffon swirl skirt and lace bodice create a delicate look. The jeweled waist adds just the right amount of drama.

Dew Drop. Pretty in Pink. This is the perfect look for the ultimate girly-girl.

Elwin. Stunning and elegant with wonderful draped tulle.

Flora. Gold vines and ivory flowers scattered over tulle and silk with an open back.
